Cheyenne County Sheriff’s deputies requested an arrest warrant Tuesday for Charles Smith, following a series of phone calls to Potter-Dix High School in which Smith allegedly threatened to kill all “non-virgins” at the facility. The Dix resident was taken into custody by Sergeant Brandon Loy of the the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office. Potter-Dix administrators contacted the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 11, reporting that a threatening message had been left on the school’s voice mail over the weekend.
