Sidney High School graduate Logan Lewis, who just completed his freshman year at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., was named the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year. Lewis helped the Diplomats to a third-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships last month. After twice being rained out of their home opener last weekend, the Sidney American Legion program opened up its 2015 campaign in Gordon with a junior-senior doubleheader sweep over the Regulators. The City of Sidney will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. All city departments will be closed including the landfill and the library.
