    LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska State Patrol will be putting in extra hours on the road over the July 4th holiday in an effort to reduce the potential for serious injury and fatality crashes.     All city of Sidney departments will be closed on Friday and Saturday this week, including the landfill and the library, in remembrance of Independence Day. The Solid Waste Department will be collecting Thursday’s trash on Wednesday and Friday’s trash on Thursday. The Dial-a-ride Bus and Stage Line Bus will not be running either day.     CHADRON, Neb. – Derek Robb of Sidney was among the weight class winners at the Chadron State College Wrestling Camp last week. He defeated Tyler Gray of Elk Grove, Calif., 7-3, for the 152-pound championship.     Average retail gasoline prices in Nebraska have fallen 1.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.70 per gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 1,150 gas outlets in Nebraska.
