The Sidney Public Library will hold a dedication of its new circulation desk, purchased in memory of Martha Hammond Walker, during its annual Christmas open house on Dec. 19. The new custom-made desk was purchased with funds from Walker’s estate. It is more user-friendly and provides more storage for the library staff then the previous desk, which had been in use for nearly 45 years.
