    4-H'ers and their families celebrated their accomplishments of the past year during the annual Cheyenne County 4-H Achievement Banquet on Sunday, October 21.     Ninth grade students from across the region attended Nebraska Extension's Connecting the Dots Career Exploration Program at Sidney High School on March 5. Nearly 150 students spent the morning exploring their skills, learning to write a good resume and how to behave in an interview.     Caitlyn Deal kicks off the first meeting of the Cool Kids Club 4-H gardening project group. Deal and her brothers, Jeffrey and Zach, wrote a grant for their Junior Leader 4-H Club to start a community gardening project with a learning component. They teamed up with the Cool Kids Club.     The Cheyenne County 4-H Council is proud to announce that Emily Gill is the recipient of the 2014 4-H Council Scholarship. Gill is an 11-year member of 4-H and has served as president of the Junior Leaders and Dryland Toughies 4-H Clubs. Gill's 4-H projects include market beef, poultry, photography, and foods. Gill is a senior at Leyton High School and is the son of James and Cynthia Gill of Gurley.
