    Sidney High School's Will Castner finished ninth in the Extemporaneous Speaking category at the 2015 Nebraska Class B State Speech meet on Thursday. Castner was the only Red Raider who had qualified for the competition, held at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. His ninth-place finish was among 17 other Class B competitors.     The Just For Kix Dance program raised $1,200 for charity at its annual Kix for Kids fundraiser show last weekend in the Sidney Middle School gym. The "Kick Cancer" event donated the proceeds to Kyra's Kisses, Madison Frerichs, Adeline Elder and to Sidney schools.     Just in time for warm weather, the Sidney Legion Park Pond was stocked on Thursday with more than 400 pounds of trout. The pond is restocked by Cabela's and the City of Sidney each March, May and September. Eric Ketchum, a fishing and marine outfitter at Cabela's along with Brian Hahle from Pleasant Valley Fish Farm in McCook, released the trout into the pond with nets.
