Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) beefed up it's numbers in Sidney Wednesday to conduct surprise commercial vehicle inspections. A Denver man who was arrested last week by Sidney police plead guilty to a reduced charge in County Court Thursday. A road activity update was presented by County Highway Superintendent Doug Hart at Monday’s regular Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners meeting. In the meeting Hart discussed future plans to repave the asphalt pad located at the fairgrounds. The pad is primarily used by the Oktoberfest committee for its annual event.
