Authorities are still looking for a motorist involved in a hit and run that occurred west of Sidney on Hwy. 30 last week. A Loaded grain truck was struck by a train when it stalled on the tracks near Gurley Wednesday night. A Sidney bicyclist was transported to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff Wednesday after he was clipped by the edge of a semi truck. A Sidney man's case was moved up to Cheyenne County District Court following an alleged assault that took place in the alley behind a local bar. According to the affidavit, at approximately 2:14 a.m. on July 13, a medical team was dispatched to Stewie's Bar in Sidney, where a male victim had claimed to be physically assaulted.
