Fishing the day away in legion park, families gathered to fish and enjoy the warm weather at Cabela's 13th Kids Fishing Day Saturday. Legion Park pond is officially stocked with 460 fish for Saturday's Kid fishing day sponsored by Cabela's. Brian Hahle was on site from Pleasant Valley Fish farms. Sidney Regional Medical Center (SRMC) recently matched funds raised by children who attend Kids Korner Daycare & Learning Korner Preschool to donate to the Cheyenne County Safe Kids car seat program. A string of recent burglaries in Sidney are currently under investigation by the Sidney Police Department. According to Police Chief Joe Aikens, the first burglary happened on April 21, at Triple O's Building Supply, located at 633 10th Avenue.
