The Sidney Fire Department was called when a blue Ford 4x4 struck a gas meter Wednesday. According to an email sent to parents Wednesday, the incident happened around 12:20p.m., approximately 30 yards north east of West Elementary. Cheyenne County Commissioners discussed snow removal and grading for private and defense access roads Monday, approving agreements that outlined the stipulations of the services. Sidney resident Victor Wooley, was killed when a semi truck struck the back of a 1997 Dodge minivan near Julesburg, Colorado, Sunday morning.
